Level Designs 2018

Welcome to my Level Designs Page for the year of 2018, below you will be able to see all of my Level and Scene Designs that I have done using various Game Engines in the year of 2018, this was my first year doing these projects. Some of the 3D Models that you see were create by me using a mixture of both 3D Studio Max and Blender. The other assets that were used in these Scene/Level Designs were from the Unity Asset Store. The textures that I have used to build up the materials of the models were from a mixture Textures.com, arroway-textures and Dev-Assets. So, yeah, feel free to gander through the screenshots below and follow me on social media as that is the best way to keep up to date with all of my latest content. There are also 4K Downloads available for each of the screenshots shown below, these can be downloaded through my Flickr page, which is linked in the footer of each page in this site.

Unity Level Designs

The below section is filled with all of my Level Designs that I have done using the Unity Engine in 2017, I have used multiple versions of the Unity Engine below, from Unity 2017 to Unity 2018.

Mountain Cave

Another random Level/Scene Design, this one was originally going to be an autumn setting, however this was changed last minute due to the fact that the trees were made in SpeedTree so I was unable to change the color of the leaves, as I do not have the software. So, as a result this has now become a sort of summer scene, the inspiration for this came from some images I had seen that were taken in parts of America. I have also mixed in a small collapsed mine/cave in part of the mountain area as well.

Sunrise Beach

Another Season, another Scene Design, this one was to celebrate the start of Summer and to celebrate the amazing weather that the UK had been getting, this was a simple tropical beach scene that was inspired by the beaches in Crysis and Just Cause as the both of these games had amazing beach scenery, the unique model that I made for this Scene is the Pier, this like the other assets was made using 3D Studio Max, the other assets were from the Unity Asset Store.

Forest River

At the time of releasing this scene design we were just entering Spring, so like with the past seasons and possibly future seasons, I created a scene/level to reflect the current season, this was also made as I took a break from a big project that I was working on in the background that which will be revealed soon!! I have also remastered this scene a little and have released a dedicate Showcase Video on my YouTube Channel. Most assets used in this scene/level were from the Unity Asset Store.

Blender Real-Time Render

Below is any Pre-Rendered Scenes that I have created within Blender, using the inbuilt Cycles Renderer.

IT Office Experiment

This is a basic experimental scene that I created within Blender just to get used to UI, tools and features available within the software, this was my first-time using Blender, and I was experimenting with a couple of ideas that I wanted to do with it and even Unity. The first set of screenshots were just simple prototypes of the model and room, however, the second set I configured and imported all of the materials for the separate models. Some of these models might be used again in some future projects, but also, they might be distributed out for free, after some small modifications to them.

Unreal Engine Level Designs

Just like above the below section is dedicate to the Levels and Scenes that I have done within the Unreal Engine, the version that I used was Unreal Engine 4, as it is currently the latest engine release.

Mountain Camping Site

This was a simple scene design of a camping site in the forest and it was also my first time using Unreal Engine 4. This was not only to celebrate the awesome summer weather that the UK was experiencing at the time but also to allow me to try the engine out for an upcoming project that is currently in the design phase of its creation. The Camping Assets were created by me, however the foliage came from another source, the Unreal Starter Foliage Kit.
