This is my latest project that I am working on, currently I have only partially done the main structure of the building, but the overall plan is for this to be an abandoned building in the middle of an apocalyptic world. I will not only create the overall level and allow the player to be able to walk around the level, but I hopefully will also be able to create some form of story and missions to increase the narrative. I plan of sharing every stage of the development here and even on all of the social media platforms linked in the footer, if you would like to comment on how the level looks so far, or even have any suggestions for the level, as this will help me be able to create a final amazing level that will hopefully be available to download and play through.
This has been inspired by a multitude of real-world buildings, abandoned and not, but also games like Crysis 2 and The Last of Us, the assets that were not made by me came from the Unity Asset Store and the textures came from Textures.com.

Been a couple of months since the last showcase of this level, so here is some more screenshots from the project, overall a lot has changed in this area of the environment, mostly to make it look a lot more abandoned and run down, but also I did perform some optimization on the models it self and the materials applied to them, so now a lot of the areas have their own UV Map.

Another update of the project that I am working on, this time some experimentation and even a glimpse of a small Easter egg that might be included within the final level. I was experimenting with a volumetric add on for Unity (Aura), which works amazingly well in bringing the scene to life, a more polished version of this might be available somewhere in the final game as a small Easter egg, along with some more areas and even more Easter eggs included.

Been some time since I last posted and a lot has changed with the project, as you can tell from the screengrabs, the main structure has now been completed with some minor tweaks. Next to be worked on is the rest of the surrounding area, which I have already started to block out and experiment with.

Here is another update on the project that I am working on and again a massive amount has changed, there is now a completely modelled courtyard area at the back of the car park area, not only with three more buildings (exteriors only) but also with a little overgrown seating and fountain area. As you can see in one of the screenshots as well, I have started to work on the surrounding areas, mostly by adding a lot more foliage around the campus :D. The Assets that were not made by me came from the Unity Asset Store and the textures came from textures.com.

Another update to the Abandoned College Project that I am working on, this time the addition of an abandoned train track with train on the outskirts of the map. This time I have also started to add some wildlife as well as more foliage to the level, so in the various screenshots you will see the odd sparrow, butterfly and even a family of Deer.

Decided to post another update on the project that I am working on, this time I decided to work a bit on the interior of the building, as you can see in the screenshots the receptions area, seating and canteen area have now been populated with objects, from books and computers to desks and dining sets. I will be adding even more detail and objects to these areas in the future as well as expanding on the canteen and starting on other interior areas.

Here is another update post on the Abandoned Project that I am currently working on, as you can tell I decided to add more props to the interior of the main building, this time the canteen area and a classroom, I have also added some more detail to the other areas of the building, mostly rubbish decals to give the building a more abandoned feel. The one thing I want to work on is the textures as personally I find them a tad too glossy. As usual I have a lot more screenshots that will be available on my website later today, so feel free to check those out. Also, as usual feel free to comment down below what you love about the level so far and what you would like to see added or improved. The assets and textures that were not made by me came from the Unity Asset Store and Textures.com.
